NeuroCult™ Neuronal Basal Medium is a specialized basal medium designed for the culture of mouse and rat primary neurons. When combined with NeuroCult™ SM1 Neuronal Supplement (Catalog #05711), NeuroCult™ Neuronal Basal Medium supports the culture of primary neurons at low or high cell densities in both short- and long-term cultures. Supplemented NeuroCult™ Neuronal Basal Medium may also be used for plating primary neurons prior to maturation in BrainPhys™ Neuronal Medium.
