In this study the authors investigated if the addition of a lipid supplement, Cell-Ess®, would lead to an increase in protein production across different clones in two different genetic backgrounds of CHO cell lines. Cells were either grown in FortiCHO (Thermo Life) or SAFC (Sigma, St. Louis, MO) serum free media.
